In the beginning of 2018 is when I took my first set of “real photos” with a real camera. It was a day or two after a snowfall and the snow had settled in beautifully. I went to my small town’s lake and captured the sun reflecting off of the snow and lake and something just CLICKED (pun intended)! I thought that this could be my thing. I had finally found my thing. From there it is a blur of the early photog days of senior photos and random shoots with my friends to practice.

September of 2018, I began an internship with a church where I built my skillset in filming and video editing. Photography was put on a slight hold but what I learned in filming and editing transferred on over to photography. Video was my life for three years but now I am coming back to where my creative journey started: Photography.

Now enough about how I got to where I am, I know you’re dying to know about ME! I married my husband, Isaac, in September of 2020. Since then we have moved to Joplin, MO and moved back to Quincy, IL. While in JOMO we rescued our first pup, Kenji. He is a ball of energy and will give his two cents even when you don’t ask for it. Don’t ask me what my favorite color is because it changes faster than the seasons of the year. For now my favorite hobby is looking up semi-complicated recipes online and attempting to cook them. So far it has been a 98% success rate!

Lastly I want to say thank you for being here! Whether this is your first time even hearing about me or you are my bestest friend, you being here means the world to me.
